ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
First held in 2009, In the heart of Borneo, where lush rainforests meet vibrant cultures, International Energy Week (IEW) is recognised as the biggest international event in East Malaysia celebrating the future of energy. A pivotal platform gathering top-level decision makers, policymakers, innovators and thought leaders converge to shape the trajectory of sustainable energy which happens once every 2 years.
Against the backdrop of Borneo’s natural beauty and rich biodiversity, this event not only explores cutting-edge technologies and renewable energy solutions but also fosters dialogue on environmental stewardship, global energy transitions and vast investment opportunities in Borneo and in the region. It’s a testament to Borneo’s commitment to harnessing innovation for a greener, more resilient future, blending traditional wisdom with modern advancements.
Hosted by The Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (MEESty) Sarawak with the full support of the State Government of Sarawak, the 6th edition of the International Energy Week (IEW), will be held from 15-17 July 2025 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching adopting the theme: “Transitioning Towards A Net Zero Carbon Future”
